Every time you go to an electronic store they have beautiful HDTVs wall to wall. All playing eye-catching HD content, everything from sports to movies.
That’s when you decide to take the big HD plunge.Then you get home, connect everything and… surprise! Your big investment looks like crap when playing from standard definition sources. Even your girlfriend is commenting that the old TV used to look better!

This all too familiar story happened to me a year ago.
This time around I wanted an HDTV for my bedroom so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Being adept in motion graphics, I decided to make a Benchmark DVD to test out the HDTVs at the store. It made my decision a lot easier.
Since then I have helped many friends decide which HDTV was right for them.
Many people liked the Benchmark DVD so much that I decided to make this web site and share the love.
